Manual Therapist
Ceciel Tomlinson
Manual Therapist
Ceciel joins Osteopath Blackpool as our Manual Therapist. She holds a Level 4 Diploma in Sports Massage and Soft Tissue Manipulation, and is currently in her final year of osteopathy studies at the University of Derby. She is also working towards a Pilates instructor qualification.
Her focus is the everyday side of feeling better: easing muscle tension, supporting recovery, and helping people feel more comfortable and confident when they move. Many people see her between osteopathy appointments, or simply want regular hands-on manual therapy as part of looking after an active body.
Ceciel offers appointments that work well for new parents, including mum and baby friendly sessions. She shares the same whole-person approach as the rest of the team, and will always refer on to David or Reece, or to your GP, when that is the right next step.
What to expect
Manual therapy is a hands-on treatment that works with the muscles and soft tissues of the body. Ceciel takes time to understand what you have been doing, how you have been feeling, and what you would like to get back to, then tailors each session to you.
There is no pressure to sign up to a block of sessions. Some people come once, some come now and again to stay on top of a busy or active lifestyle, and some see Ceciel alongside osteopathy with David or Reece.
Hands-on manual therapy that many people find helps tight, tired, or overworked muscles feel more comfortable.
A supportive option between training, work, or osteopathy appointments, helping you keep moving and feeling looked after.
Practical, reassuring guidance so you feel more at ease with movement and everyday activity.
Mum and baby friendly appointments, with a relaxed and welcoming space for the early months.

Ceciel works alongside our osteopaths, sharing the same belief that good care means looking at the whole picture, not just the sore spot. When osteopathic assessment or onward referral is the right next step, that conversation is always an easy one to have.
