Ceciel joins Osteopath Blackpool as our Manual Therapist and Sports Massage Therapist. She holds a Level 4 Diploma in Sports Massage and Soft Tissue Manipulation. She is a final-year osteopathy student at the University of Derby and is not yet a registered osteopath.
Ceciel offers manual and soft tissue therapy, sports massage, deep tissue massage and pregnancy massage, from 12 weeks, or from 20 weeks for IVF pregnancies. Some people see her between osteopathy appointments, and some book regular sessions.
She shares the same whole-person approach as the rest of the team, and will always refer on to David, or to your GP, when that is the right next step.
What to expect
A calm, hands-on approach
Manual and soft tissue therapy is a hands-on treatment that works with the muscles and soft tissues of the body. Ceciel takes time to understand what you have been doing, how you have been feeling and what you would like from the session, then plans each session around you.
There is no pressure to sign up to a block of sessions. Some people come once, some come now and again to stay on top of a busy or active lifestyle, and some see Ceciel alongside osteopathy with David.
Soft tissue work and massage
Hands-on work with the muscles and soft tissues, adapted to what you tell Ceciel on the day.
Stretching and joint articulation
Gentle stretching and joint articulation, explained before they are used and only ever with your agreement.
Time to listen
Time to understand what you have been doing and what you would like to get back to, so each session is tailored to you.
Referral when needed
Ceciel is not yet a registered osteopath. If something needs a fuller assessment, she will refer you on to David, or to your GP.
Fees
Simple, honest pricing
Sessions with Ceciel are booked and paid for on its own terms. These sessions are separate from osteopathic appointments with David.

Ceciel also offers pregnancy massage, from 12 weeks, or from 20 weeks for IVF pregnancies. A 50% prepayment is taken when you book online. The balance is paid at your appointment. If you are not sure which session is right for you, get in touch and we will point you in the right direction.
